I heard it the first time while doing LSD in a dorm room in college.

Man, Em was hot when I was using. I mean HUGE. And he meant so much too us going through poor kid shit. This was like the last hurrah. It came just as the "fun" of drug use ran out and the "problem" began. I definitely remember hearing this and being so amped in the cusp of a trip or whatnot, and then another time hearing it and knowing exactly what that desperately manic feeling he describes is like, because I was in it.

great point of view....drugs make you fall down, make you vomit, make you get in car accidents,,....but I wouldnt change a thing, I would take more if I could,,,,says a multi millionaire entertainer.
and a 15 year old kid or a 20 year old jobless man with 8 dollars to his name.....says....right on....you speak for me
